Trip to the park to watch the ducks and geese

I took Katie to the park last night to play and to go see the ducks. There were a lot of them around and it kind of scared her. She kept telling me they were "dirty". LOL Too funny. We played on the swings mostly. I also took some pictures of the people on the river.

What is she trying to tell me here?

I was finger painting with Katie this morning, and she got in trouble for finger painting where she's not supposed to. See the floor behind her in the first picture. She wouldn't say anything for a couple of minutes. And just kept looking at me. I think if she had been older, she would have been mouthing off to me. LOL

The Zoo in September

Yesterday we went to the zoo, with my sister and another friend and all of our kids, for the Asian Safari in celebration of the Panda cub's, Mei Lan, first birthday. It was actually a lot of fun. Katie got to have a blue raspberry snow cone, cotton candy, AND popcorn. We saw all the animals, plus some cool little shows. One was really cool where this guy was doing sword tricks etc. Anyway, there are a lot of pictures, so I put them into 3 slideshows, 9 or 10 pictures each. And on the last slide show, roll over the pics with your mouse to see the whole picture. Anyway enjoy!

Want to see what is looks like to take toddlers and a baby to an art museum?

This is what it looks like. :) We spent about an hour and half taking the kids round so we could look at the things we wanted to look at and then the rest of the time letting them play in the kids room. They had fun and so did the adults I think. So here you go.....

And then I took a few pictures of some of the art, the ones I was allowed to take pictures of.

Katie's First Real Haircut

I trimmed Katie's hair once at home, but tonight we took her to get her haircut. It was looking kind of scraggly. So I had them trim it up without taking too much length off. There wasn't much change in her appearance, but at least now she looks neat and tidy. So here's some pics of that adventure.

A trip to the park with some friends

We went to Kidstock again today and met up with Sara and Avery, and Sheri and Samantha. It was very very warm, but I think the kids had fun. It was nice to get out of the house even if just for a little while. Katie played nicer than I have seen her play in awhile, but she still was a little mean with her "Mine!!!". It's so embarrassing and so ill-mannered of her. I hope it doesn't mean that she will be a mean and bossy kid. She just needs a sibling I think to put her in her place. Hopefully sooner than later.
