For those of you who don't stalk my other blog....

These were for Shannon the other day.

Life explodes when your almost one year old....

...decides that naps are for babies. Oh wait...he still IS a baby. At least for a little while longer. Seriously he's down to 2 naps a day and I'm lucky if each of those are for more than 30 minutes. He goes to bed at 10:30 and lately he's been getting up before 8 am. It's a good thing he's not grumpy, for the most part. Anyway. Just as an FYI, he's 11 months now and his first birthday is FAST approaching. It'll be here before I realize. It feels weird to know it's only been a year since I was pregnant. It seems forever ago, but it just seems like yesterday that Sam was my fuzzy haired newborn. Anyway, he's doing well. Still not walking yet, but he's a boy. What can I say, he's a little lazy. He can stand forever and he can bend down while standing and pick things up. He can even climb up onto chairs. But crawl, instead of walk? This is not something he's interested in. Oh well.. he is finally saying "mama" now when asking for me. He says "hey, dada", when he wants Miguel's attention. And he refers to himself as "baba". It's all very cute. He is officially clapping and is starting to get the waving thing. Although he doesn't use it very often. The other great thing is that he and Kate are actually playing together now. Which is great when I hear him break into a fit of giggles over something she did. I did do a cake smash with him yesterday, but he really wasn't into it. But it's way too much work to do again. So I'll have to see what pics are salvageable from that. Here I go, off to try and fly a kite with Kate.

Curly Wurly and Boris

While I was thinking about it, I thought I would introduce you to my constant companions, well besides Kate and Sam. Their names are Curly Wurly, the beautiful girl in red, and Boris, the handsome boy in blue. They go everywhere with us. They have their own spots in the car, they eat our meals with us, take baths with the kids, and on and on it goes. In case you were wondering, they are Kate's "kids". As in, they are her imaginary friends. And trust me, they are never far away. :)
Oh and this is Kate's portrait of the the two of them together. I think they must either have been floating or laying on the ground or Curly Wurly was jumping over Boris.....?

Oh..and here is my new website, for anyone interested...

My Website

It was not my intention... ignore my blog so. But it was a busy week last week. With Easter, my birthday, trying to get my new website up an running, and daily life, things just tend to get a way from me. So I had a good birthday, it was a gorgeous Easter and I am sure there is a lot more I COULD talk about, but for now, we'll leave it at that. Here are few pics of Kate from yesterday. Sam did not participate in this year's Easter egg hunt, but I am sure next year he will. After our Easter egg hunt, we went on one of our "flower walks" for Kate to pick flowers out of our neighbors yard. LOL Enjoy!

He's so darn cute....

And actually so is Katie for that matter. :)

A sneak peak at Baby Charlie

Kelly let me photograph her beautiful newborn little girl on Wednesday, and I could just have eaten her up. She was so precious.

I love it when the grass goes green....

I just love this time of year. Too bad we've had SO much rain lately, but hey, it's ok. Katie loves to play in the rain, just as much as in the sun. Anyway, I took the kids to the park the other day and I thought I would share with you the pics. And oh yeah, the dandelions are out too. So fun!!!
